We've wanted to bike across the GG Bridge since we moved here and today was the day. We watched a documentary on the building of the bridge last night with the kids. Did you know the length of the steel wires used in the cables is enough to circle the earth around the equator 3 times?! Above is a photo of us with the
statue of Joseph Strauss, Chief Engineer of the GG Bridge. His head chopped by the nice man who took the photo.

That's awesome! I still wished we would have done it the last time we were in San Fran. Oh well, just an excuse to visit again!
