We have had a busy summer so far. From June 14th-21st we went to Southern California for a family vacation with the Young Family. We hit Disneyland and California Adventure Parks and went to Aliso Beach, Balboa Island, Newport Beach, and Little Corona Del Mar tide pools. It was a blast having all of the cousins on the Young side together -- 7 girls and 2 boys and 2 more girls due in July and September.
When we came back from Southern California we had a visit from Alexandria's cousin Candace and her husband Eli and their son Owen. We had fun with them touring Monterrey, Pebble Beach and Carmel.
The next weekend we drove to Beaverton, Oregon to attend the baby blessing of Rex William Lucas, Josh and Sherri's new baby. We had twelve Lucas cousins together for a weekend and enjoyed the trip to the Portland area.
Avalon and Claire have been at art camp this week and Cody will be in soccer camp in a few weeks. In between we will be spending a lot of time at the swimming pool and enjoying our summer vacation as we prepare for the arrival of our new baby this September.
