Lombard Street, San Francisco

We drove up on Friday August 13th and moved in to our new house in Pleasanton, CA. We are going to miss San Diego and all of our family and friends. We are moving forward and are excited about the new possibilities of life in the Bay Area. We are determined to experience Northern California. Our first adventure was to the world's windiest road "Lombard Street" in San Francisco. We waited quite a while to get our turn down the road. The kids really liked it and halfway down Avalon asked if we were going to have to stop at any redlights... Fortunately, Lombard is about 75 yards of free flowing traffic. They also wanted to come back and bring their scooters. We learned later that every year they have a "Big Wheel" race down Lombard -- Our trip is the first video. The big wheel race is the second.
